If you are not one of the many, many people escaping the Coachella Valley for the three-day Independence Day Weekend, not only will you get to suffer through hot, muggy temps – but also the smell of rotten eggs. How wonderful.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued an odor advisory from today through Monday as there are elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide – which is a gas that smells like your roommates toots after a night of heavy beer drinking, Chipotle, and him never taking a shower – seriously though, dude should really take better care of himself.
