A cyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in Cathedral City on Saturday morning. The driver then fled.
The man was struck by a green Jeep Cherokee while on his bike about 10 a.m on Ramon Road in between Crossley Road and Landau Boulevard, according to the Desert Sun.
The driver did not stop the car after the accident.
The cyclist, who was not identified , died a short time later from his injuries.
Police are investigating.
