Music fans were treated to Paul McCartney and Neil Young in Indio on Saturday night’s Day Two of Desert Trip. The highlight of the night for most: when the two took the stage together.
Midway through McCartney’s se, he welcomed Young to the stage and the two performed “A Day in the Life” and “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?”
Prior to the big pairing, Young took to the stage around sunset.
Young, in addition to music, also told some jokes, at one point telling the crowd what the could look forward to from Roger Waters the next night, “Come back tomorrow night — Roger is gonna build a wall and make Mexico great again.”
