Yet another elderly driver rammed through a Southern California business yesterday. KTLA has the details of the incident which occurred at the Pho 86 restaurant in Garden Grove:
An “elderly female” driver was attempting to turn onto westbound Garden Grove Boulevard from Yockey Street when she struck another vehicle with two men inside. The first driver lost control of her car and plowed into the restaurant, according to the police.
“We think maybe she panicked a little bit, hit the accelerator, went up into the parking and into the business,” said police Lt. Jeff Nightengale.
A 37-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl were in the restaurant and were taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries. The driver was not injured.
