A mother is claiming her 8-year-old son was put into the hospital by a Disney character as the result of a hug at the theme park.

Laurie Ramirez, of Rancho Cucamonga, told KTLA News that her son was “tossed around like a rag doll” by Pluto during a trip to Disneyland’s Toon Town.  She said that because of this incident, her son had to be hospitalized with neck and back injuries and he was unable to walk out of the park

According to Ramirez, a rep from Disneyland came to the hospital with El Pollo Loco (!) and offered to pay for the boy’s treatment. They also said the actor in the Pluto suit was disciplined for the hard hug.

The incident was oh-so-conveniently filmed by Ramirez (who kept the camera rolling while talking to her son about his injuries) – so there will undoubtedly be a lawsuit coming.
