A 62-year-old man was killed on Tuesday after he was struck by a truck while on a bicycle on North Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs.
The crash was reported by the Palm Springs Police Department about 4:15 pm. The cyclist, identified as William Camp of Palm Springs, was hit by a big-rig semi truck along N. Gene Autry Trail between E. Vista Chino Drive and E. Via Escuela Drive, according to KESQ.
Police say Camp died within minutes of the collision.
