Yucca Valley gang members accused of stabbing man at Palm Springs gas station

Two alleged gang members were arrested in Yucca Valley as police say they stabbed a man and assulted  at the Pilot Travel Center in Palm Springs.

At about 2:30 a.m., the suspects began yelling and attacking two men who were walking towards the store. One of the victims was stabbed in the torso and another repeatedly punched in the face, reports KMIR.

Police arrived to find the stabbing victim lying inside the travel center.

The stabbing victim sustained moderate injuries and police learned the victims knew the suspects from Yucca Valley, reports KESQ.

Wednesday 30-year-old Rodney Paul Finister and 23-year-old Terrell Edwin Small were arrested in Yucca Valley.

Finister is facing felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon and for his gang affiliation. Small is facing felony charges of battery causing serious injury and for his gang affiliation. Small was also charged with petty theft under $950 and driving on a suspended license.
