Video has surfaced from an officer-involved shooting in Indio Saturday night.
Police say the 71-year-old man was armed with a knife out front of a market, according to the Desert Sun. It is hard to tell if there is indeed a knife in the short video.
In the 9-second video, 7 shots are fired and the man can be seen falling to the ground. He was taken to JFK hospital where he died.
The video of the incident was posted by Mikayla Mendoza on Facebook and be warned, it is very graphic:
The Indio Police Department declined to comment to the newspaper about the video.
