The fire was put out, but Cal Fire says that the home is a total loss.
Roads in the area are expected to be closed for a few hours while authorities investigate.
House fire at West and Desert View. The fire is out and there is no apparent public safety issue but we will have the intersection closed down for several hours for an investigation. Please find an alternate route if you live in the area.
