An Indio was arrested after police say he posed as a doctor and wrote more than 70 prescriptions for two patients but keeping most of the drugs for himself.
Marc Dobson, 53, told police that he took a book of prescription pads while working at a doctor’s office, according to KESQ. He wrote prescriptions for two patients. One of those patients had 69 prescriptions written in his name but told police he only actually received two prescriptions from Dobson.
Authorities say surveillance video shows Dobson picking up the drugs at a pharmacy.
Dobson was arrested for felony counts of identity theft and forgery of prescriptions.
