Indio Police is investigating after a a woman’s body was found in the road early Monday morning.
Police were called to an area near Highway 111 and Clinton Street about 2:30 am, according to KMIR. Officers believe the woman was likely hit by a car on the south side of the road.
The woman’s identity has not been released. Police are asking witnesses or anyone with more information to come forward.
