Indio police are looking for a man they say showed a gun and then robbed the California Bank & Trust on Highway 111 Friday afternoon.

According to a news release (Via the Desert Sun), the man was described as 6’1″, white, thin build, in his 40s, bald with a mustache and dry, wrinkly skin. The man walked into the bank a little after 6 pm with a zippered portfolio folder.

The man appeared to be disheveled and spoke softly in English. He opened the portfolio, showing the tellers a gun inside, then demanded money.

He then fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running through a dirt lot that sits between the bank and the Jackalope Ranch Restaurant.
