While excitement builds over the new In-N-Out Burger that will soon be opening in La Quinta, rumors continue to circulate that it is not the only new fast food joint coming to town. There has been much speculation that Chik-fil-A would finally be opening a location in the Coachella Valley. But are the rumors true?
I reached out to Chik-fil-A about a potential La Quinta store and received the following statement from Carrie Kurlander, Vice President, Public Relations, Chick-fil-A, Inc.:
“We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. We would very much like to serve the community of La Quinta; however, at this time, we have no locations to confirm just yet.”
The bad news: as of right now, there is no Chik-fil-A officially coming to La Quinta.
The good news: the phrases, “at this time” and “just yet“. Now, I do not know about you, but that seems to suggest that something is imminent. And that something is a chicken sandwich in your belly (just not on Sundays).
