Thursday, a jury recommended the death penalty for the man convicted of murdering two Palm Springs Police Officers, Jose “Gil” Vega and Lesley Zerebny.

According to the Desert Sun, it took the jury only a couple of hours to decide.
The recommendation is just that, a recommendation. It’s now up to Judge Anthony Villalobos to deliver the sentence.
