
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has announced the arrest of a 28-year-old La Quinta man for allegedly stealing a custom bike.
Deputies were called to Calle Tampico about 12:30 am on November 11 about the grand theft of a bicycle, according to a news release. Eight days alter, Obed Heredia-Palomin was identified as the suspect in the theft of the custom-built Cult bicycle.
He was located on Avenida Mendoza, and during his arrest, it was discovered Heredia-Palomino was in possession of approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine, with the intent to sale.
Heredia-Palomino was booked at the county jail in Indio. The bike was not located.
