When I was a kid, I used to believe that the people I was watching on TV could also see me. Last night on Facebook, KESQ’s Ginger Jeffries destroyed my childhood wonder by giving all of us a peek of what your local TV news crew looks at every night – and good God is it boring.
Wow, every night they have to look out into a vision of gloom, hopelessness, and despair. Other than a fire extinguisher, plenty of cords for tripping on, cameras, and monitors there really just isn’t much of anything there to bring our favorite TV news people any joy. Should we start a fund or something to give these people some happiness in their lives? Maybe we can start with this?
