A 2-year-old girl, who vanished during a supervised visit with her dad on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles, was found unharmed in Palm Springs, according to police.

Lucia Perry and her father, Jack, were last seen outside of a Barnes & Noble store at the Grove on December 24th, when the person monitoring their visit lost sight of them.

The two were found at an apartment in Palm Springs Monday night after a witness recognized Jack Perry from a community flier.

According the the LA Times, Jack Perry had rented an apartment in Palm Springs using a fake name.  He and Lucia’s mother are going through a divorce.

Police say Jack Perry, a British national who police say has a “minor criminal history”, was considered to be a flight risk as he comes from a wealthy family and has access to a private aircraft.

Lucia was reunited with her mother. Jack was arrested on suspicion of child abduction.
