A Pennsylvania man got away with $500 worth of stolen electronics by using bananas as a weapon, says state police.
Yes, just when you thought that you had seen everything that could possibly happen at a Walmart – along comes this story, via WNEP:
Michael Rehrig, 32, of Palmerton, is accused of stealing more than $500 worth of electronics Sunday from Walmart near Lehighton.
Troopers report Rehrig threw a bunch of bananas at an employee and left the store with a television and a vacuum cleaner.
Cops also claim that Rehrig stole three TVs from the same Walmart just a day prior and that his brother, Troy Rehrig, stole items from the store in September.
No word if those robberies also involved dangerous produce.
