A Banning man was arrested on Wednesday after police say he was involved in several indecent exposure cases in Beaumont and Banning over the past six months.
A Beaumont Police officer on patrol located a vehicle and driver that matched the description of a wanted subject near the 2nd Street Marketplace, according to a press release.
The officer detained Silas Matthew Brown, age 24, of Banning. Brown and his vehicle were positively identified by one victim as the suspect in a case of indecent exposure that happened on March 18.
Additional victims from previous cases reported that a black male adult driving a silver or red vehicle approached them, asked for directions and exposed himself while seated in his vehicle.

Brown is currently a sex registrant for a past sexual battery charge and was on probation during the March incident.
Brown was arrested for indecent exposure, violation of probation, and was booked at Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
