A man is dead after bring shot in Desert Hot Springs.
DHS Police were called to the 66-000 block of 2nd Street a little before 3 am am Tuesday, reports KESQ. Residents of the area, which is less than a block east of the Carl May Center and the Desert Hot Springs Library, called police after hearing shots fired.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
