Palm Springs Mayor has to drive across town for shoes…because of marijuana

Palm Springs Mayor Robert Moon, an avid Cactus Hugs reader who did a terrible job getting the Obamas to move to town, admitted that he spends money in another Coachella Valley city – *gasp* – and all because of that damn weed. Wait. What?
PS Mayor Moon admits he shops in Palm Desert. “Because there’s more place to buy weed in Palm Springs than shoes."

Of course many in Palm Desert have to drive to Palm Springs because, while Palm Desert has plenty of places to buy shoes, there is nowhere in the city to buy weed.
The Coachella Valley economy is odd.
