Mike Tyson’s KIND fest to expand to 3 days, move to the fall

Organizers behind Mike Tyson’s KIND Music Festival have announced a new concept, new time of year, and new timeline for the Desert Hot Springs Event.

The KIND Music Festival will now include the KIND Showcase at Tyson Ranch, with the event expanding to three days and taking place in the fall – running October 10 -12 at the site of a planned marijuana complex that would include a research facility, entertainment venues, and a gigantic lazy river.

The inaugural event, held this past February, was headlined by Miguel and A$AP Ferg, but, so far, entertainers for this fall’s fest have not been announced.  The initial event was fairly well attended, but also was offering plenty of deep discounts on tickets in the days leading to the event.

According to promoters, the KIND Showcase will be a “three-day consumable cannabis experience” – combining a music festival with a convention for direct-to-consumer and business-to-business cannabis products and businesses.

As October has a chance to still be scorching hot, promoters have promised “the world’s largest temporary structure” which will offer fest goers a chance to check out cannabis vendors in air conditioning.
