A woman who police say abducted her 16-year-old daughter after pepper spraying a case worker in Indio was arrested in Long Beach on Friday.
Police say that Latasha Dove pepper sprayed the worker as they were escorting the teen through a parking lot at a mental health facility.
Dove was arrested at an apartment in Long Beach on Friday on suspicion of child stealing and possession of tear gas
Her daughter is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
