CSPAN, a cable channel that is fantastic background noise to fall asleep to, occasionally will be home to a magical, unpredictable moment during one of their call-in segments.
Quite possible the best call ever into CSPAN was from “Joy” from North Carolina.
As brothers Brad and Dallas Woodhouse argued over their political opinions, their mother (yes, their real mother) called in to berate them. are now the champions of awkward CSPAN calls, after the politically divided brothers ended up taking a call from their mom.
“I’m hoping you’ll have some of this out of your system when you come here for Christmas. I would really like a peaceful Christmas.”
Both brothers squirm and cringe throughout – as this mother speaks for every American who is tired of the dumb arguing.
