A Rancho Mirage man is dead after he was involved in a collision with a vehicle Halloween night in Palm Springs.

39-year-old Christopher Strebe was taken to Desert Regional after the crash, where he died a couple of hours later, according to the Desert Sun.

The collision occurred a little before 10 pm on East Palm Canyon Drive. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor.

No other injuries were reported.
