A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on Saturday night in Palm Springs.

The crash was reported at 11:12 p.m. on North Sunrise Way, according to the Press Enterprise.

The rider was driving north on Sunrise Way behind a 2003 black Lincoln Town Car. When the Lincoln made a right turn into an apartment complex, the motorcycle rear-ended the car.

The driver of the Town Car was interviewed and released at the scene, according to the Desert Sun.

The name of the motorcycle ride has not been released.
