Police did not have much trouble catching an arson suspect after a Colorado home was allegedly set on fire Tuesday morning – due mostly to the spray-painted words “My wife is a cheater” on the side of the house.
Neighbors told FOX 31 that a family with three young children lived in the home, but they were not in the structure at the time of the fire.

The Arvada Police Department announced later Tuesday morning that a male suspect was in custody, as The Denver Channel reports:
Tuesday afternoon, Arvada Police identified the suspect as 31-year-old William Eugene Lindauer III, a resident of the home. He’s being held on investigation of first-degree arson, reckless endangerment, prohibited use of weapons, cruelty to animals and criminal mischief. He’s scheduled to make his first court appearance in Jefferson County court on Wednesday morning.
Lindauer’s wife filed for divorce in October 2013. A divorce decree was issued on Feb. 18, 2014. One of the family’s two cats who lived in the home has not been found, hence the cruelty to animals charge.
