O.J. Simpson, currently serving time in jail for a crime that did not involve killing two people, is aware of the knife found on his property.
The Juice’s former manager, Norman Pardo, told People that O.J. is aware of the knife and is a little concerned about it.
“[O.J.] is a little worried because if it’s one his pocket knifes and, if it’s got his blood on it, that could make him look bad when he’s up for parole,” Pardo told People.
Without Johnnie Cochran around to work his magic on a jury, maybe he should be worried.
But, according to Pardo, O.J. is really not going to stress about it.
“Everybody I’ve spoken with says he’s just ignoring it. He’s not talking about it,” Pardo explained to People. “When he heard the news on TV, all he did was shake his head, as if to say, ‘Will this ever end?’ He’s definitely shrugging it off and pretty much saying, I’m not going to worry about it.'”
Retired Los Angeles police officer George Maycott says he was given the knife found by the construction worker years ago. His attorney told the LA Times that Maycott called the LAPD to report it, but they showed no interest.
At that point, Maycott put the knife in his toolbox – where it spent over 10 years.
The LAPD is investigating whether the knife is tied to the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Goldman and is conducting a forensic examination.
