The Desert Sun is out with a pretty interesting article about how much Coachella Valley residents donated to various political candidates. While Hilary Clinton received a lot of cash, Rick Santorum – a person who you probably do not even remember even ran in the primary – received only one check for 25 bucks from someone in the Coachella Valley. But who? And why?
Here are some theories:
- Rick Santorum has an uncle that lives in town
- The donation was given as a gag gift to a Bernie supporter
- Someone is a fan of frothy google results
- Someone bought a $25 campaign shirt to wear (ironically)
