Opening Date Announced For New Twisted Colossus Coaster

Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced the opening date for the brand new Twisted Colossus roller coaster.

The new thrill ride, opening May 23rd, replaces the iconic Colossus coaster which was shut down in August.

The four-minute-long ride spans roughly 5,000 feet of track, making it the longest hybrid coaster in the world, according to Six Flags. The coaster includes a steep 116-foot drop, 18 airtime lifts, a “High Five” — where two trains face each other as they pass through an over banked turn, and a “Top Gun Stall” — an inversion where the train slows while it is upside down.

This is a simulation of what the ride should look like when it opens and I for one can not wait!
