Yes, you can find an In-N-Out in or near pretty much every city in California – but, according to Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, they are not all the same. Some, as it would turn out, are better at dishing out Double Double’s than others. And according to Lakshmi, the best In-N-Out she has ever had is in the Coachella Valley.

“I do go through a drive-thru when I’m in L.A. Oh, totally, In-N-Out,” she shared with E! News (via Bravo). “Last season when I was filming in California, we were basically on a road trip up and down the California coast and we would have this contest about which was the best In-N-Out. Is it San Diego? Is it Los Angeles? The best one we had was Palm Springs.”

Rad.  Thanks for doing it better than anyone else, local In-N-Out employees.

Note: Yes, every local knows there is no In-N-Out in the city of Palm Springs.  Lakshmi is not wrong in saying it, most people think the Coachella Valley is just “Palm Springs” and not nine different cities – and if she had said “Thousand Palms” – no one outside of the 760 would have known wtf she was talking about.

Reunited and it feels so good. @innout
