Drive-by shooting in downtown Palm Springs being investigated

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened in downtown Palm Springs Sunday night.

Authorities received a call about 9:30 p.m. and the initial investigation showed that someone fired three or four shots from vehicle traveling south on Palm Canyon, reports the Desert Sun.

One of the rounds struck a window at the Village Pub, but no one was injured by the gunfire.

Palm Springs police later found the vehicle they believe was involved, along with the weapon in another part of Palm Springs, but the suspect ran away – according to KESQ.
