A Palm Springs man was with a replica gun was arrested after a pursuit on the 10 Freeway on Sunday.
Deputies were called to Ramon Road around 5:30 pm for reports that a man was driving a white SUV was waving a handgun. Officers responded and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver failed to yield.
A pursuit ensued to the 10 Freeway and, with the help of the CHP, the suspect’s vehicle was eventually disabled near Ramsey Street in Banning.
The driver, Keith Acedo, 43, of Palm Springs, was arrested and police say they found a replica gun inside of his car.
