A person is dead after being struck by a vehicle on the 10 freeway early Tuesday morning.
Officers responding to the crash just west of Golf Center Parkway at 4:20 a.m. found a Ford Econoline van parked in the center divider, reports the Desert Sun. It is not clear if the vehicle struck the pedestrian or was broken down on the freeway prior to the crash.
The location is not far from where a La Quinta man was killed after being struck by two vehicles on the 10 freeway.
