A massive cleanup is underway in Santa Barbara after a devastating oil spill may have released over 100,500 gallons – with much of it going onto the beach and into the ocean.
The pipeline is owned by Plains All American whose district manager, Darren Palmer, apologized at a news conference by saying, “We’re sorry this accident has happened, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience to the community,”
Officials estimate that the spill will take 3 days to contain.
