A woman died on Friday following a car crash in Palm Springs that police say was likely caused by a medical condition.
Police were called to the crash a little before 5 pm Thursday evening at the San Jacinto Village apartment complex on Escoba Drive, according to a news release.

The woman’s red Toyota went across the westbound lanes of East Palm Canyon Drive and crashed into a concrete wall. She was transported to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Police believe that the woman sustained a medical emergency prior to the crash.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
