A man was hospitalized following a drive-by shooting in Cathedral City Thursday night.
Cathedral City Police received a 9-1-1 call at about 9:05 pm from a woman stating that “her boyfriend had been shot,” according to KESQ. Police say that the victim and a woman were sitting in a parked car on Wishing Well Trail when another vehicle drove by and shot at the car – with at least once in the upper torso.
An unidentified person began driving the victim to the hospital and was met by a Palm Springs Fire Department vehicle along the way after the vehicle they were in got a flat tire – with personnel treating the victim and then taking him to the hospital, reports The Desert Sun.
There was no word on his condition.
