The election is less than a week away – and thank God!
Next week the millions of ugly campaign signs will finally be taken down from every intersection in town, the unintentionally hilarious TV commercials will stop airing, and the candidates can stop posting stupid, staged pictures of them “working” on the internet.
They just want you to know they are working so hard. Take for example state assembly candidate Bonnie Garcia who is so hard at work, she does not even notice there is someone in her office taking pictures of her:
An important phone call won’t even distract her from this important document she is reading:
Meanwhile her opponent Jeff Stone takes a break out of his reading from what looks like a 2,000 year old book:
And he better not put that book down as it looks like he has a lot of reading to do. I mean just look at all those books:
Then there is congressional candidate Brian Nestande who is listening very intentently to something very important being said:
Oh, turns out it was something funny:
In fact, it was so funny that he is still laughing about it later:
But as for his opponent Raul Ruiz, he won’t be laughing anytime soon – as he is stuck in the hell on earth that is flying coach.
