You love Pop-Tarts and you really love beer…but, will you love Pop-Tart beer? One California brewery hopes so.
21st Amendment Brewery, out of San Francisco has announced plans to release a beer inspired by Pop-Tarts. The company recently moved into an old Kellogg’s factory, so it just made sense.
The beer is called Toaster Pastry. It is an India red ale logging in at 7.6 % ABV and will be available in a 19.2-ounce can.
And while one may think that the beer would be sweet (as Pop-Tarts are), you may be in for a surprise. As Fortune reports, the beer’s IBU of 74, making it roughly as bitter as a Stone IPA.
