A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting that happened Saturday night in Indio.
The shooting occurred in front of the Ranchero Fresco Market at Jackson and Dillon in Indio just after 9 pm, according to KESQ.
The police officers involved are “ok”, reports the Desert Sun, but the suspect died after being transported to JFK hospital.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
