Rancho Mirage votes the way we all figured Rancho Mirage would vote

Rancho Mirage voted on Tuesday in the most Rancho Mirage way possible. And, to the surprise of almost no one, voters (or voter’s cats – we will never know) decided to keep the incumbents in charge of the city, according to the Desert Sun.

With nearly 53% of the registered voters sending in their mail-in ballots, Dana Hobart, Charles Townsend and Iris Smotrich each received more than 22 percent of the vote. Challenger Kate Spates received about 13 percent of the vote, while Bob Mueller received 9.5 percent, and Michael Harrington just under 7 percent. The results won’t be final until certified.

The city will now surely continue to make sure that the CV Link will never make sense, that Jennifer Lawrence can’t rent a house there, and your commute will be as shitty as possible forever.
