Several SoCal counties are among the top 15 most dangerous counties in America according to Time – at least when it comes to natural disasters. As explained on Time.com, they counted up events that caused “death, property damage, injuries or crop damage” in each county.
They used that info to make a “disaster index,” based on the average of each counties events plus the events of its neighboring counties.
