KESQ anchor / reporter Samantha Cortese has left KESQ News Channel 3.

Management alerted employees of the mutual parting this week during a staff meeting. Cortese had been anchoring weekend mornings and reporting during the week on KESQ. No word on a replacement or her future plans.

Cortese, who is usually pretty active on Twitter and Facebook, has not posted on social media since Tuesday.

The news of Cortese’s exit follows a recent string of departures from the media outlet over the past year, including: sports guy Chris Alvarez, anchor Alex Batres, weather guesser Rob Bradley, reporter Natalie Brunell, sports guy Angelo Caruso, weather guesser Danielle Gersh, and weather guesser Ginger Jeffries.
