Gavin Lodge proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Katrina Smith, on Saturday. She said yes! But, then the winds came.

The balloon was supposed to land shortly after the proposal but high winds prevented that for about an hour – during which time the balloon they were in flew over residential neighborhoods, scraping roofs.
Eventually, the pilot was able to land the balloon without any injuries. Lodge told NBC 7 the ride was a memorable one.
