September in Palm Springs is a crazy month.  It always starts out with an insanely hot Labor Day Weekend, but then, by the end of the month, things just might be nice enough to go outside again…well, at least at night.  Here are the concerts and events taking place in September in Palm Springs

Brian Wilson and the Zombies team up for an 8pm concert at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio.  Tickets run $49 to $89 for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers.

Apple Season in Oak Glen | Starts September 1

September means the kickoff of fall and what better way to get in the spirit of Autumn than picking some apples in the quaint mountain village of Oak Glen.  We have a roundup of what to expect here (including those Apple Cider Doughnuts!).

Duran Duran | September 5

 

The band returns to Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage on  Thursday, September 5 as part of a tour that includes just seven U.S. tour dates.  Tickets were $85 to $155, but quickly sold out.  Of course, you can still go if you really want by checking listings on sites like StubHub.

Olive Harvest at Sunnylands | September 11 & 12

Sunnylands is giving 100 people per day the chance to take part in a morning olive harvest on the historic estate. The olives will be used to produce Sunnylands Olive Oil, which will be available in the gift shop.  Volunteers will get a light lunch and a short presentation on the milling process.  Reservations are required.

The  “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” and “Summer Of ’69,” singer stops into the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino for a Friday night show. Tickets for the concert run $59 to $99.

They are one of the most successful bands in rock history and they are bringing more than five decades of classic hits to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s Special Events Center on Saturday, September 14 with an 8 pm show.  Tickets start at $39.

Ramón Ayala Y Sus Bravos Del Norte | September 14

Ramón Ayala Y Sus Bravos Del Norte return  to Spotlight 20 Casino on Saturday, September 14th.  Affectionately known as the “King of the Accordion,” Ayala is Mexico’s best-selling musician/composer, having recorded over 100 albums (!!) and earning four Grammy Awards during a career that has spanned five decades. Tickets range from $40 to $60.

98 Degrees | September 20

The brothers Lachey and the other guys in the group (??) descend upon Cabazon’s Morongo Casino for a Friday night show at 9 pm.  Tickets are $29 to $49.

El Grito | September 21

From 3 to 10 pm on September 21, Rancho Las Flores Park will host live music and entertainment, a kid’s zone, and local food vendors in a celebration of Mexican Independence Day.  It’s free to attend, just don’t bring any coolers or outside alcohol to the event.
