Elmer’s Restaurant in Palm Springs was vandalized this weekend.
Vandals broke the popular desert eatery’s sign, overturned planters, and destroyed overhead fans, according to KMIR. There was no information about a potential suspect or motive.
The restaurant chain operates 29 locations throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California and Arizona and had temporarily closed all of its locations, including their one spot in the Coachella Valley, due to the coronavirus.
The chain says on their website they hope to “re-opening as soon as possible.”
