New Starbucks opens in Rancho Mirage, across the street from another Starbucks

A new Starbucks has opened in Rancho Mirage, right across the street from another Starbucks.

The new Starbucks is in the Rancho Las Palmas shopping center, which is right across the Bob Hope  from another Starbucks at The River in Rancho Mirage.

Now, as seen her eon Google Maps, if one Starbucks is too full – you can just walk to the other one:

This Starbucks, however, has a drive-thru (which I guess are allowed in Rancho Mirage now?) – although at least one driver at the River might have thought that one did too.
