Police have arrested two people in connection with multiple vehicle thefts in La Quinta and Palm Desert.
After receiving reports of vehicle thefts in La Quinta, the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team investigated and contacted and detained Daniel Contreras and Nancy Fuchs, according to a news release.
The investigation revealed Daniel Contreras and Nancy Fuchs were responsible for multiple thefts.
A search warrant was served at a storage unit in Thousand Palms where property from several reported thefts was found.
Daniel Contreras and Nancy Fuchs were booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for possession of stolen property.
