Super-long investigation finds no proof Palm Springs mayor spied using secret camera

An investigation into allegations that the Palm Springs Mayor used a secret camera to eavesdrop and record conversations, that seemed to take almost as long as the Mueller report, released its findings on Wednesday night – with the 40 page (!) report stating the investigation failed to prove that it happened, according to the Desert Sun.

The investigation, which cost taxpayers at least $85,000, looked into Robert Moon’s Blink camera that was placed in his office because he thought someone was entering it at night and moving things around.

As the newspaper notes, none of the city council members, including Moon, commented on the report during the meeting.

The report states that City Manager David Ready knew about the camera before the complaints, according to KESQ.

Palm Springs is a really well run city.
