The Palm Springs Buzz shuttle bus, a cool thing that the city of Palm Springs keeps trying to make as cheese ball as possible, celebrated its birthday last night (a month after its actual birthday).  As part of the ceremonies, actress Suzanne Somers, someone who we can only assume is a regular on the bus, sang happy birthday.  To a bus.  Yes, it was weird.

The video gets started with the new mayor of Palm Springs, Robert Moon, and Somers engaging in some awkward banter about Somer’s idea to put a bar on the bus (can I change my vote to Somers for mayor?) – before the moment we have all been waiting for: the actress who played Chrissy now belting out a rendition of Happy Birthday to an inanimate object.

Palm Springs is so weird.
